Rexly CEO Joel Resnicow stopped after his presentation at the Visionary Showcase at Billboard's FutureSound conference to discuss social music discovery, tastemakers, and how his company is helping music fans to find the music they like from the people they respect the most.
Rexly is linked with Facebook and Twitter, allowing users to share as much or as little as they want across social media platforms about the music they listen to, and is even integrated with Pandora to allow users to launch their own radio stations. Most importantly, Resnicow discussed that Rexly wants to get as many tastemakers - from friends, to influential bloggers, to artists themselves - involved and engaged. "Think about it as a backstage pass to their iPhone or iPod," he said.
