Viral-video titans the Gregory Brothers will be performing a special at the Shorty Awards, to be held in New York on March 26. The awards, which recognize "content creators, celebrities, agencies and brands on Twitter, Facebook, Foursquare, YouTube, Tumblr, Quora and other social media platforms" -- will be hosted by Samantha Bee and Jason Jones.

"As @Gregory on Twitter, I've received many tweets meant for @GregoryBrothers from people who don't understand you can't put a space in a Twitter username," said Greg Galant, CEO of Sawhorse Media, creator of the awards. "I'm thrilled that we're working with the Gregory Brothers, and that I'll finally have a chance to deliver all of the misdirected tweets their fans sent to me."

The awards will be livestreamed 6:30 to 10:30pm ET by The New Livestream, fittingly enough. Winners are chosen by jurors from The Real-Time Academy of Short Form Arts & Sciences.

All acceptance speeches will be limited to 140 characters.

Billboard received two Shorty tweet-nominations.

The Gregory Brothers are responsible for the "Auto-Tune the News" series of YouTube videos, which were followed by "Bed Intruder Song" and "Double Rainbow." The Brothers are in the process of making a pilot for Comedy Central.

Guest presenters include "White Collar" star Tiffany Thiessen, Miss USA Alyssa Campanella, "Daily Show" correspondent Aasif Mandvi (@aasif), and a video appearance by Piers Morgan.
