The Awards, set to be broadcast on Latin media giant Telemundo, will cap the Billboard Latin Music Conference presented by State Farm, which will take place from April 23-26 and will feature a number of panels highlighting the genre's best artists.
Now in its 23rd year, the Billboard Latin Music Awards is the longest-running awards show of its kind, and honors the top albums, songs, and performers in Latin music in the past year, as defined by the Billboard sales, radio, and chart data.
Omar, who let slip he'd be performing during a satellite interview at this year's Finalists Announcement party, is a 16-time finalist for the awards. Royce was named New Latin Artist of the Year in 2011, and has 12 nominations to his name this year in a variety of categories, while Rubio's extensive career has seen her soar on a number of Billboard's Latin charts.
