FutureSound launched last year as a way to bring investors, entrepreneurs, and music industry decision makers together to foster the advancement of understanding and innovation across the board and help push the music industry forward. Last year's conference brought together investors and executives from companies such as Facebook, Twitter, Pandora, and Foursquare along with content and rights companies such as Island Def Jam, EMI, Glassnote, and the NMPA.
This year's FutureSound Conference in association with Loeb & Loeb LLP also will include the first ever Innovators Showcase Startup Competition, where digital startups will have the opportunity to pitch their company or product to a panel of judges on stage during the conference, with one being named the winner at the conclusion of the event. Submission deadline for inclusion ends Oct. 12. For more information about the conference, go here.
