STIM, the Stockholm, Sweden-based collecting society for music creators and publishers, has announced the appointment of Helena Woodcock as acting chief executive officer following the resignation of Kenth Muldin last week.
"I very much look forward to my assignment as STIM acting CEO," said Woodcock in a statement. "Kenth Muldin was the mastermind behind the strategic development that helped positioning STIM as one of the world's leading CMOs. Now the STIM board and management will continue to follow the international business strategy that has been mapped out during the past years."
Woodcock has been general counsel at STIM since 2008 following a position as corporate counsel at Electrolux.
