CMT's Parr Joins Spalding
By Ken Tucker
After 10 years at CMT, VP of music programming and talent relations Chris Parr is making the move to artist management. He'll join Spalding Entertainment, home to Brooks & Dunn, Jason Aldean, Sarah Buxton, Terri Clark, Pat Green and Ashley Monroe, after the 2007 CMT Music Awards on April 16. Clarence Spalding founded the management firm in 2004.
Parr will join the company as an artist manager. Initially he'll work on the day-to-day for Aldean, but Spalding says Parr's experience will be utilized with all the firm's acts.
