Warner Brothers Records let several urban promotion executives go Friday. Senior VP Cynthia Johnson, national director Renee Burdine and Cynthia Johnson's assistant Chanel Secreto are among those who exited, in addition to those who reported directly to Johnson.

A very high profile executive is rumored to be headed to the Warner Bros. urban department, and an announcement is expected to come this month.
