At Trans World Entertainment, Ish Cuebas, formerly director of merchandise operations, has been named VP of music and merchandise operations. In his new role, Cuebas assumes the responsibilities of Jerry Kamiler, who left the chain after 23 years with the Albany, N.Y.-based company.

Cuebas, who will report to chain president Jim Litwak, joined the chain in 1994 as the latin buyer, and he has assumed responsibilities in a number off areas, including product knowledge, music buying, store operations, pricing and digital media delivery.
