Daniel DiCicco Named President, Sony Asia

Daniel DiCicco has been named president of Sony Music Entertainment Asia. DiCicco will be based in Hong Kong and will report to Richard Sanders, president of international for Sony Music Entertainment. The position is effective April 1.

Most recently, DiCicco served as president and representative director of BMG Japan. In 2006, he served as executive VP/co-GM, BMG Japan, and prior to that was senior VP of global marketing for Asia. He has nearly 10 years of management experience in Asia and Japan with Sony Music/Sony BMG, according to a statement.
