Lars Ingwersen takes over as managing director of Peermusic publishing and the production company in Germany as of Sept. 1, 2009.

The appointment was announced by peermusic CEO Ralph Peer and European chairman Michael Karnstedt in Hamburg. Lars Ingwersen will report to Ralph Peer.

Michael Karnstedt, CEO of peermusic in Germany and chairman Europe, said: "We decided on Lars Ingwersen because he has had big success to break national artists with German lyrics in recent years.
