Heartland is moving from Nashville-based Lofton Creek Records to Texas-based Country Thunder Records. The move was revealed by Lofton Creek president Mike Borchetta and Country Thunder president Herbert Graham, although the terms of the deal were not revealed.

The Huntsville-Ala. band that broke onto the national scene by scoring a No. 1 on Billboard's Hot Country Songs with "I Loved Her First" in October and subsequently debuted at No.1 on the Top Country Albums chart.

Lofton Creek's roster includes Shawn King, Kristina Cornell, "American Idol" alum Carmen Rasmussen and Cook & Glenn.

The recently-launched Country Thunder is home to Jamie Lee Thurston.
