Country quintent Lonestar -- which has scored 18 top 10 singles on Billboard's Hot Country Songs including nine No. 1s -- introduced Cody Collins as its new lead singer at a performance in Nashville last night (Sept. 12).

The Georgia native replaces Richie McDonald, who, as previously reported, announced he would be leaving the group to pursue a solo career. Dean Sams, Michael Britt and Keech Rainwater remain with the band that also featured John Rich of Big & Rich at one point.

The band's next album, "My Christmas List," will be released exclusively through Cracker Barrel Old Country Store locations and online at crackerbarrel.com in November. Lonestar exited BNA Records earlier this year.

Cracker Barrel, which has previously released albums from Josh Turner, Merle Haggard, Alison Krauss & Union Station and Amy Grant, among others, will also sponsor Lonestar's Christmas tour.

Since forming in 1992, Lonestar has sold 7.1 million albums, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Their biggest hits include "Amazed" and "I'm Already There."
