Country star Craig Morgan, who exited Nashville independent label Broken Bow last month, has signed with Sony BMG Nashville. He's expected to release a single this summer and an album in the fall. At press time he hadn't been assigned to any of Sony BMG Nashville's four imprints.

Morgan has scored five top 10 singles, including the No. 1 "That's What I Love About Sunday," in his eight year career, which started at the now defunct Atlantic Records Nashville. His latest single, "International Harvester," peaked at No. 10 on Billboard's Hot Country Songs.

"Little Bit of Life," Morgan's latest CD, has sold 290,000 copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan. Overall he has tallied 862,000 albums sold in the U.S. during his career.

Morgan is managed by Faith Quesenberry at Vector Management.
