For Willie Nelson it's Farm Aid. For Reba McEntire it's Habitat for Humanity. And for Taylor Swift it's St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Whatever their designated charity, artists who win at the 2008 CMT Music Awards will get more than a trophy-$2500 will awarded to that charity.

The move is part of CMT's One Country initiative, which was launched in 2005 to inspire CMT viewers to take action and bring about chance in their communities.

"Much like the goal of CMT One Country to inspire others to take action and bring about change, we are proud to facilitate artists giving back to the community that has supported them in their successes," CMT director of public affairs Lucia Folk said in a release.

The show will air live from Nashville's Curb Event Center at Belmont University at 8:00 p.m. ET on CMT and CMT.com.
