"Nashville Star" finalist Joshua Stevens has signed an exclusive recording contract with Robbins Nashville.

The Iowa native is currently a staff writer at Full Circle Music Publishing and his songs have been recorded by Danielle Peck and Canadian country artist Michael Carey.

His debut single, "Rock 'n' Roll and Pensacola," which he co-wrote with Dan Couch and Jim McCormick, ships to radio in early May.

Stevens finished in fourth place on the 2007 season of the reality series "Nashville Star" and spent last summer and fall touring the country.

Robbins Nashville is also home to Rockie Lynne.
