Nashville-based Warner Bros. VP of A&R Tracy Gershon has exited the label she joined in 2005. An industry veteran, Gershon has worked as an artist manager, song-plugger and talent booker, among other things.

She joined Warner Bros. from what was then Sony Music Nashville, where she was the senior director of A&R and artist development. At both posts, Sony and Warner, Gershon has been involved with television's "Nashville Star" as a judge and consulting producer. While at Sony she signed former "Nashville Star" contestant Miranda Lambert.

She has also worked at Sony/ATV/Tree Music, Fitzgerald-Hartley Management and Backstreet/MCA Records, among other places.

According to a Warner Bros. spokeswoman, Gershon will not be replaced.
