Up 1.2 million audience impressions in its 17th chart week, Lady Antebellum's "American Honey" (Capitol Nashville) claims a second week atop Hot Country Songs, ending a spate of one-week leaders that began when Billy Currington's "That's How Country Boys Roll" followed four weeks at No. 1 by Josh Turner's "Why Don't We Just Dance" on the March 20 chart. Subsequent one-week chart toppers include Blake Shelton Featuring Trace Adkins' "Hillbilly Bone" (March 27), Easton Corbin's "A Little More Country Than That" (April 3), Carrie Underwood's "Temporary Home" (April 10) and Zac Brown Band's "Highway 20 Ride" (April 17). As noted in last week's BCU, the chart hasn't seen this rate of turnover in more than 16 years.

The trio's song draws 33.5 million impressions in its second week at the summit, where the top audience contributors are KPLX Dallas (933,000), WYCD Detroit (797,000) and WSOC Charlotte, N.C. (645,000). Up 209,000 impressions, the week's
biggest audience gain is noted at WIL St. Louis, while the biggest spin increase occurs at WWQM Madison, Wis. (54 total plays, up 27). On Country Digital Songs, the trio's thrice-platinum "Need You Now" notches a 13th week at No. 1 (100,000 copies, down 20%).

Rascal Flatts and Justin Moore add to their respective top 10 totals, as the trio's "Unstoppable" (Lyric Street) and Moore's "Backwoods" (Valory) enter the upper tier on Hot Country Songs. With 23 top 10s apiece, the trio is now tied with Alabama for the most Nielsen BDS era top 10s among groups (since January 1990). "Backwoods" is Moore's second top 10, following "Small Town USA," which led the Oct. 3, 2009, chart.

On Country Digital Songs, an April 6 iTunes video premiere drives a 21-8 leap and the chart's biggest increase for Miranda Lambert's "The House That Built Me" (Columbia). The clip bowed two days later on cable outlets CMT and GAC, driving total weekly sales of 22,000 copies (up 10,000). The new peak position matches Lambert's previous best rank, set when "White Liar" stopped at No. 8 on the Jan. 23 chart, Lambert's best sales week so far (30,000 copies).

Meanwhile, Rodney Atkins claims the week's best start, as "Farmer's Daughter" (Curb) opens with 13,000 units at No. 17. Reba McEntire's "Consider Me Gone"
(Starstruck/Valory) re-enters with 7,000 copies at No. 40, ahead of new debuts by Jerrod Niemann's "Lover, Lover" (Sea Gayle/Arista Nashville) and Jason Aldean's "Crazy Town" (Broken Bow). Opening at Nos. 46 and 47, respectively, both songs move approximately 6,000 downloads apiece. Up 25%, Jaron & the Long Road to Love logs the biggest percentage increase and a new peak position, as "Pray for You" (Jaronwood/Republic/Big Machine) jumps 8-5 (28,000 copies, up 6,000).

Steve Azar sets a new benchmark of sorts on our national formats/secondary markets chart, where "Sunshine (Everybody Needs a Little)" (Ride) is the highest-ranking title on a small independent imprint since Billboard began archiving the weekly Country Indicator charts in mid-November 2006. Three weeks before our archiving began, Heartland's "I Loved Her First" topped Hot Country Songs-but for official purposes, the Country Indicator archive begins with the Nov. 11, 2006, chart. Since that time, Azar's track has achieved the highest rank for a small indie, previously held by Katie Armiger's No. 32 peak with "Unseen" in December 2008.
