Singer/songwriter Big Kenny, who earned national prominence in the groundbreaking duo Big & Rich, will take part in the panel "Who's Gonna Fill Their Shoes?" at the inaugural Billboard Country Music Summit June 7-8 at Nashville's Hermitage Hotel.

Moderated by Rubin Media owner Ronna Rubin, the discussion will center on the challenges of breaking and maintaining the careers of artists in a crowded media landscape. Other participants include William Morris Endeavor Entertainment VP/agent Rob Beckham; Flood, Bumstead, McCready and McCarthy partner/business manager Jamie Cheek; Triple 8 Management president George Couri; Republic Nashville president Jimmy Harnen; and GAC senior VP of programming Sarah Trahern.

Co-sponsored by the Country Music Assn., the summit will also explore publishing, the digital revolution, the touring business and the evolving role of record labels, among other topics. Tim McGraw will field questions from Billboard executive director of content and programming for touring and live entertainment Ray Waddell in a keynote event. The summit's closing panel, "Not Your Granddaddy's Record Label: Will the Last One to Abandon the Old Business Model Please Turn Out the Lights," will feature Blake Shelton.
