Annie Lennox is getting ready to release a Christmas album and gave a very special preview to a VIP crowd in London on September 28. “Christmas Cornucopia” is due November 15 in the United Kingdom on Island Records and the 16th in the United States on Decca. To give the event a Christmas feel, Mince pies were served to the guests who got a first listen to Lennox’s renditions of holiday favorites “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen,” “The First Noel” and “Silent Night.” Enjoying the evening are (from left) Olivia Nunn, product manager at Island Records; Ted Cockle, co-president of Island Records; Lennox; Darcus Beese, co-president of Island Records and Jon Turner, GM at Island Records.

During her live set, Lennox played some of her biggest solo hits, as well as old favorites from the Eurythmics including hits "Here Comes the Rain Again" and "Sisters Are Doin' It for Themselves."
