ASCAP’s 2010 CMJ Showcase at Tribeca’s Canal Room filled up early and stayed packed throughout the evening on October 20 where a dynamic range of bands fueled their buzz with great sets. Nashville rockers Non-Commissioned Officers, Scotland’s The Xcerts, Los Angleles natives, Grouplove, Good Old War, from Philadelphia, Reptar, from Athens, GA, and Hacienda from San Antonio, all rocked impressive sets for the audience of fans and industry deal makers. Nashville's Non-Commissioned Officers, fronted by brothers Eric and Jordan Lehning proved that music city is also breeding ground for some of today’s more provocative rock.
