This past weekend, KROQ hosted their 23rd annual Almost Acoustic Christmas concert - a two-night show which featured an all-star line up of Jack White, The Killers, Imagine Dragons, fun., Passion Pit, Linkin Park, and a surprise appearance by No Doubt. Following the festivities on Sunday night, artists, execs, and music fans headed over to Jane's House in Hollywood for M83's late-night afterparty. The venue is set to change its name to "No Vacancy" next month, and this was considered the "pre-opening to the public."

In addition to celebrating their well-received set at L.A.'s Gibson Amphitheater, the event was thrown in honor of M83's recent Grammy nominations. The band celebrated by sipping cocktails with a variety of friends including Donald Glover ("Community", Childish Gambino), Flaming Lips frontman Wayne Coyne, Shiny Toy Guns, Anjulie, and Crosses. The bar was packed - indoors as well as out on the brick-walled patio. The Embassy kicked things off with a DJ set, which included nostalgic tunes by Madonna. Later in the evening, M83's Jordan Lawlor jumped behind the podium and ignited a massive dance party.

Among those in attendance were Scott Slutzky, Music Relationship Manager for Red Bull at GRACE Marketing who was hanging with Brandon Chamberlain, Director of Music at EFG PR, and Ira Miller, Social Media Manager at AEG Live/Goldenvoice. The trio were discussing the new Judd Apatow film, "This is 40", and were excited to check out a screener that one of them had recently acquired. They were also buzzing about how amazing the soundtrack to the film is.

Senior Director of A&R Capitol Records, Mollie Moore, was spotted chatting with Jeremy Dawson of Shiny Toy Guns and new Republic Records artist Anjulie. Moore told us that she is thrilled to have recently joined Capitol and that it's a very exciting time to be a part of the label. "We're definitely in the process of signing some new artists. We're working on a deal as we speak - which is typically unheard of during the holidays," she stated. Moore also mentioned a show that she recently attended in Hollywood that she really enjoyed. "I saw Trixie Witley and Alexz Johnson perform with her band. I really enjoyed them both."

Anjulie told that she has a new song titled "You And I" on which she collaborated with Benny Benassi that is #28 on the Canada Hot 100 chart right now. She added that the song will be hitting radio in the US in February. "I have an EP that I'm finishing up and then my album will be out later next year - by the springtime," she said.

Also spotted in the crowd was Interscope Finance Manager Carl Ryan, Adam Palemo (who works with celebrity fashion designer Brian Lichtenberg), DJs Chris Holmes and Myles Kendrik of The Embassy, and Jason Gaviati (keyboard player for violinist Lindsey Stirling, and previously Gavin Rossdale).
