Target, Billboard magazine and Translation Advertising joined forces Saturday night at Wolfgang Puck's steakhouse Cut in Beverly Hills to "celebrate great people, new ideas, and new opportunities for the future."

Target's Greg Cunningham, the group manager of Strategic Partnerships and Lifestyle Marketing, said the evening was to bring together "thinkers and to connect them in individual conversations." The plan worked-artists, label executives, film producers, fashion designers, actors, publicists and marketing executives chatted all night long, sharing stories about current projects and future ambitions. Wolfgang Puck's wife and restaurant co-owner Gelila Puck stopped by to welcome the group, and to mingle for a while.

The stream of welcomes and greetings was steady, one of the warmest coming from Busta Rhymes, one of several artists to stop by the shindig. Among the other notables on hand were Pitbull, Def Jam Records senior VP of A&R Sha Money XL, DJ Khaled, Chris Hicks, Grammy-winning producer Just Blaze, Grammy-winner Estelle Darlings, actor Jesse Williams from "Grey's Anatomy," CAA's Christy Haubegger, and Ryan Carroll of Sam Raimi's Stars Road Entertainment.

The media strategist ranks were well represented by Tracy Nguyen of Industry Public Relations, Phylicia Fant of WBR, Karen Lewis of Walton Isacson, Vanessa Anderson of the AMPR Group, Kisha Maldonado-Madrid, and Karen Civil, the online media coordinator for Beats by Dre and Young Money Records.
