Keeping in line with the past parties its thrown during Lollapalooza, Coachella, SXSW and CMJ, Chicago-based independent booking firm the Windish Agency treated touring executives to free cocktails and tacos on Feb. 1 at the company's Los Angeles office in Echo Park, which opened last year.

Presented by Ticketfly, the get-together drew numerous folks from across the live entertainment industry, including Windish Agency president Tom Windish, Goldenvoice VP Elliott Lefko, Live Nation talent buyer Shane Shuhart, Square Peg Concerts president Dan Steinberg, Rose Presents' Gene Hollister and Sherpa Concerts' Jason Zink, among many others.

In recent years, the Windish Agency has opened new branches in New York and Toronto. But in addition to its new L.A. digs, the firm had a few other things to celebrate in 2011, including 17 new hires over the past 12 months and an expansion into producing more events and sponsorship initiatives for its roster of more than 550 musical acts. Last month the company announced that its revenues grew 80 percent year over year last year. Its roster includes such artists as M83, Foster the People, Gotye and the xx.

Nashville-based Zink says he's promoting some of the first Merle Haggard concert dates since the country singer was released from the hospital.
