Back in the day, record labels used to go all-out for their Grammy parties, and EMI's circus-themed event, held in the parking lot of the Capitol Tower, was a throwback in best possible way. There was a ferris wheel, cotton candy, food trucks and multiple Patron-sponsored bars on site.

One Capitol staffer, VP of publicity Heidi Anne-Noel, highly recommended the hot chocolate but said she lost "miserably" at the ring toss while attempting to win a stuffed frog.

Artists enjoying the festivities included Coldplay, Katy Perry, Lady Antebellum, David Guetta and wife Cathy, Grammy winner Corrine Bailey Rae, Eric Church, the Decemberists, A Fine Frenzy, Robyn, Slash, Afrojack, Beach Boy Mike Love, Don Was and Paris Hilton, among others.

Jared Leto came by later in the evening, and Perry hit the dancefloor with about ten friends when the party began to quiet down. The newly single singer looked stunning in a white above-the-knee dress and seemed to be having a great time throughout the evening.

EMI execs spotted under the big top included Roger Faxon, (no. 24 on Billboard recent "Power 100" list), Colin Finkelstein, Mike Dungan (no. 85) Greg Thompson, Brian Monaco, Leo Corbett, Dan McCarroll, Dominic Pandiscia, Dennis Reese and Steve Hodges, along with Clear Channel's Bob Pittman (no. 23) and Tom Poleman (no. 42) Red Light's Mark DiDia and Ed Green, Sirius' Steve Leeds and Ross Zapin,
producer Ron Fair, United Talent Agency's Milana Rabkin, Guetta's tour manager Alan Green, Aurelia Entertainment's Lainie Copicotto and many others. A splendid evening was had by all!
