Dangerbird recording artist Fitz and the Tantrums were hard to miss as they passed through the beer gardens, lead vocalist Michael Fitzpatrick clad in an all red suit. The band was joined by members of their management team, Lisa Nupoff and Brian Klein ( I'm in Music).
Nupoff told us that she was having a fabulous weekend and was able to catch a lot of bands. "I saw Radiohead of course and we saw Feist, Miike Snow, and Band of Skulls. They were awesome. We're really excited about Gotye." We asked if Radiohead was as good as everyone had said they were - which was the talk of Coachella Day 3 - to which Nupoff replied, "It was! Noelle [Scaggs] (Fitz and the Tantrums vocalist) and I pushed ourselves up on the front rail so we had a spot to watch it. We were strategic though and left before the second encore so we didn't have to squeeze through thousands of people."
Klein, who also manages Joe Purdy, told us his favorite act at Coachella was AWOLNATION. He was also hoping to catch " DJ Shadow, Fitz and the Tantrums -of course - and maybe Dre."
