From Kendrick Lamar’s fiery performance to Lady Gaga’s bombastic Bowie tribute, the Twitter-verse was in a frenzy during the 58th annual Grammy Awards. Adele, Selena Gomez, Taylor Swift, Lamar and Justin Bieber were the most-tweeted-about artists of the evening and appeared in many choice social media moments during Monday night’s broadcast.

Ed Sheeran nabbed the awards for best pop solo performance and song of the year, the latter of which also made for the most-tweeted moment of the entire night. Fellow music maker and “All About It” collaborator Hoodie Allen gave his mate a shout-out.

Though Kendrick Lamar didn’t snag album of the year, to the devastation of dedicated To Pimp A Butterfly fans, his performance of “The Blacker the Berry” and “Alright” won the night.

And of course, Meghan Trainor perfectly summed up her emotional moment winning the best new artist award.

Album of the year, best rap album and song of the year were the categories that were shown the most love (or sparked the most debate) in the Twittersphere.

Here’s What Happened at the Grammy After Parties

To be sure, experiencing the Grammys live is the ultimate goal. But there were a few moments that were just about perfectly summed in 140 characters or less.

When Adele was so super real with her adoring public about the sound issues during her performance:

When Nick Jonas said what everyone was thinking during the Lionel Richie medley:

When Gaga was the perfect Ziggy Stardust:

When Ellie Goulding and Andra Day gave Tay Tay and Selena BFF goals:

When Sam Hunt and Luke Bryan were the most delightfully bro-tastic duo to ever exist:

When Taylor Swift made us THE MOST curious about what happened here:

When Beliebers got us all nostalgic-like with this recycled Tweet from six years ago:
