R&B singer Raheem DeVaughn arrives at No. 1 on Top R&B Albums with his latest set, Love Sex Passion, opening with 13,000 copies sold in the week ending Feb. 22, according to Nielsen Music. It's his first effort to top the two-year-old chart, and second charting album on the list, following A Place Called Love Land, which entered at No. 7 in 2013 (19,000 copies).
Meanwhile, Love Sex Passion enters Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums at No. 5 (while also arriving at No. 31 on the Billboard 200), marking his fifth consecutive top 10 entrance (the entirety of his five charting albums).
The album's single "Queen" -- which peaked at No. 10 on Adult R&B Songs (dated Jan. 17) -- has a 1 percent rise in spins at the format, falling one position from 11-12 in its 20th week. DeVaughn lands on Billboard's Artist 100 chart at No. 90, fueled by the activity surrounding the album release.
Wiz Khalifa & Iggy Azalea Debut: Wiz Khalifa enters Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs at No. 37 with his latest single from the Fast & Furious 7 soundtrack, "Go Hard or Go Home" featuring Iggy Azalea. Digital sales of the track fuel its arrival on the chart, logging 40,000 downloads in its first week out. The big sales week is also enough to drive the track onto the Billboard Hot 100, entering at No. 100, becoming the rapper's 27th charting title. Buzz around the release of the single launches the song onto the Twitter Top Tracks chart, where it debuts at No. 10.
