2015 will bring much more from the Osbourne family than one last Black Sabbath album. On Tuesday's episode of CBS' The Talk, Sharon Osbourne announced that the family’s iconic reality show will be returning to television soon.

The Osbournes will be back on air for a mini-season of what Sharon says will be “six to eight episodes” at most. “It’s not as much coming back as a proper series, (but) as an update,” she announced.

The Osbournes “catch-up” (as Sharon puts it) was mostly inspired by Ozzy Osbourne, who wanted to bring back the show to capture his life as a changed man.

“'I wish we could’ve done The Osbournes now where I’m clean and sober,'” his wife recounts him saying.

The reality series originally ran on MTV from 2002 to 2005. There is no word yet on when it will return or what channel it will air on -- stay tuned!
