Atlantic labelmates -- and twin dynamos -- K. Michelle and Sevyn Streeter revved up a full house, singing along to every song, at Los Angeles’ House of Blues on November 5th. The gig was the second stop on the “Rebellious Soul” tour, headlined by Michelle with special guest Streeter. The 18-city tour is presented by BET’s “Music Matters.” Kicking off Nov. 4 in San Francisco, the junket wraps Dec. 3 in Boston and includes stops in Phoenix, Chicago, Atlanta, and Washington, D.C. K. Michelle is among among the best new artist nominees and performers at this year's Soul Train Awards, taping on Nov. 8 in Las Vegas and airing Dec. 1 on  BET and Centric.
Michelle is touring in support of her "Rebellious Soul" album (No. 1 R&B/No. 2 pop) featuring the hot single “V.S.O.P.”  Backstage, the “Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta” cast member noted that she is prepping for the 2014 launch of her own reality show. Streeter is also a songwriter whose credits include songs for Chris Brown (“Wet the Bed,” “Fine China”), Tamar Braxton (“All the Way Home”) and Ariana Grande (“The Way” featuring Mac Miller). Her CBE/Atlantic debut EP Call Me Crazy, But … arrives Dec. 3. It includes a new take on the earlier-released single “It Won’t Stop,” now featuring Brown.
