7digital this morning announced that its digital music services are now available in India, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia and South Africa, following music licensing agreements with both major and independent labels in said markets. The markets the London, UK-based 7digital is expanding to have something in common: they all boast high mobile penetration. The service is now available in 42 countries.

Over the past few years, Vevo has been working hard to simplify the process by which users search for and discover new music videos on its site. With that in mind, the company released a small update to its homepage today, aimed at making it easier for users to check out new music videos and to search for those they know and love. Interestingly, most of the changes are focused on removing features rather than adding new ones for users to play with.
