ROBERT POLLARD
Latest release: "Normal Happiness" (Merge).

I like this band the High Strung. Their last album was called "Moxy Bravo."
I just listened to the new Albert Hammond Jr. album ("Yours To Keep"), which I think is really good. I've been buying a lot of jazz. I found an album by this band Bulldog Breed from the '60s which is pretty kickass. You start running out of CDs. Is there anything left? Every time I come to New York, I go to Other Music. They always have the coolest records on the wall, but after I leave, they don't have the coolest records on the wall anymore. I clean them out every time. Last time, I bought three albums by this post-punk band called Five Or Six. It looks cool as hell, but it's not. I wasted like $90 on those. It looks cool, though. I'll keep them.
