Estelle's "American Boy" (Homeschool/Atlantic) featuring Kanye West started a second week at No. 1, holding off the 6-2 climb of "Low" (Atlantic) by Flo Rida featuring T-Pain.
Sparro, a new priority artist at Universal Island, climbed 23-4 on download sales of "Black and Gold." Also climbing in the top 10 were "4 Minutes" (Warner Bros.) by Madonna featuring Justin Timberlake, 7-5; Chris Brown's "With You" (Zomba), 17-8; and Alphabeat's "Fascination" (Charisma/EMI), back up 13-10.
The former U.S. No. 1 "Love in This Club" (RCA) by Usher featuring Young Jeezy made its U.K. debut at No. 19, while James Blunt's "Carry You Home" (Custard/Atlantic) climbed 65-20.
Duffy's "Rockferry" (A&M/Universal) entered its fourth week as Britain's No. 1 album, pursued by Panic At The Disco's "Pretty, Odd." (Decaydance/Fueled by Ramen). That came in at No. 2 following the band's No. 13 success two weeks ago with the single "Nine in the Afternoon."
"Andidotes," the debut Transgressive album by Oxford, England, quintet Foals, opened at No. 3. A U.S. release is due next week on Sub Pop. The Raconteurs came in at No. 8 with their hurriedly announced sophomore release "Consolers of the Lonely" (XL Recordings), and English outfit Guilletmots were new at No. 9 with their second album "Red" (Polydor/Universal).
Amy Winehouse's "Back to Black" (Universal Island) is in its 12th aggregate week at No. 1 on European Top 100 Albums, while Leona Lewis' "Bleeding Love" (Syco Music/Sony BMG) celebrated its climb to the Billboard Hot 100 summit by regaining the top spot on Eurochart Hot 100 Singles.
