Snoop Dogg, Slightly Stoopid and Stephen Marley are teaming up for this summer's Blazed and Confused tour. The month-long trek will kick off on July 10 in Primm, NV, and head across the country to Denver, Portland, Salt Lake City and Atlanta before capping off in Boston on August 8.

"The tour will attract all of the people who love to blaze and shed light on the confused," Marley tells Billboard.com. "Think a Lollapalooza kind of vibe. You get a whole kind of people that are on the same plane--that's what it's about."

This marks the second time Slightly Stoopid and Marley will tour together and an extension of the reggae star's chemistry with Snoop Dogg, who in 2007 recorded a remix of "Traffic Jam," the lead single from Marley's 2007 Grammy-winning solo debut, "Mind Control." "Snoop has always had respect for our culture and our father and the family," says Marley. "And likewise, in those days when it was mostly gangster rap he was all about the chronic, which to us was a good way of taking it away from shooting guns. Snoop was one of the rappers that we would listen to because he was promoting herb."

Pre-sale tickets for Blazed and Confused start at $20 and are available at slightlystoopid.frontgatetickets.com.

In related news, Marley spoke about his brother Damian Marley's upcoming collaborative album with rapper Nas, for which he will produce select tracks."At first, it wasn't about an album," he said. "It was about doing a few songs geared towards Africa and African awareness and a charitable cause. From being in the studio, it developed into a whole album."

"What you would expect from Damian and Nas, that is what you're going to get," added Marley. "They're not going to disappoint."

Stephen Marley's most recent solo project, "Mind Control Acoustic," was released in a digital-only version at end of 2008.
