Phish Announces Second Wave of Summer Dates

Fans who got shut out during round one of Phish’s return to the stage this summer will have a second opportunity to catch the veteran jam band on a coast to coast tour starting with four nights (Jul. 30 – Aug. 2) at the legendary Red Rocks in Morrison, Colorado.  The addition of these twelve dates has the band playing 25 shows this summer, including their first appearance at Bonnaroo in June.

Public on sale dates start on March 26 for Red Rocks shows; all others go on sale through March 29th with the exception of the Chicago show on April 4.

It’s already been a good start to their reformation: Phish just concluded a three night run in Hampton, Virginia’s Hampton Coliseum earlier this month and the recently released 7 DVD set of their 1996 concert weekend (dubbed "The Clifford Ball") in Plattsburgh, New York, placed number 1 on the Billboard video chart the week of its March 3 release.

Phish has already made demo versions of 20 songs for a new album, and, according to Rolling Stone, the band will rejoin producer Steve Lillywhite in the studio in April to begin recording.

Here are Phish’s tour dates:

July 30 – Aug 2: Morrison, Col. (Red Rocks)
Aug 5: Mountain View, Calif. (Shoreline)
Aug 7 – 8: George, Wash. (The Gorge)
Aug 11: Chicago (Toyota Park)
Aug 13: Darien Center, N.Y. (Darien lake Performing Arts Center)
Aug 14: Hartford, Conn. (Meadows Music Theater)
Aug 15: Columbia, MD (Merriweather Post Pavilion)
Aug 16: Saratoga Springs, N.Y. (Saratoga Performing Arts Center)
