Metallica, My Morning Jacket and Pearl Jam are among the artist
featured on "Live From Bonnaroo 2008," due in January on DVD from
Superfly Presents and A.C. Entertainment.
The DVD was originally offered only to 2008 festival ticket-buyers,
but is now being made available to the general public for a limited
time. Sam Erickson, best known for his work with My Morning Jacket
and Dave Matthews Band, directed the DVD in tandem with his 44
Pictures.
Highlights include a crowd participation-heavy version of Pearl
Jam's "Better Man," Metallica's "Fade to Black," My Morning
Jacket's "I'm Amazed" and Mastodon's "Colony of Birchmen."
The Raconteurs, Sharon Jones and the Dap Kings, Broken Social
Scene, Jack Johnson and Les Claypool are among the other acts
represented.
Bonnaroo returns to its familiar Manchester, Tenn., location for
its eighth installment on June 11-14.
