Kylie Minogue is finally coming to America.

Australian pop singer Kylie Minogue announced today the dates for her first ever North American tour, a six-date trek that will kick off September 30 in Oakland, Ca. before ending in New York City's Hammerstein Ballroom on October 11.

"I've wanted to tour in America and Canada for years and know that fans have been waiting a long time for this," Minogue said in a statement. "I'm thrilled that the opportunity has finally arrived."

Minogue, who is currently at work on her eleventh studio album, will appear on NBC's "Today" Show May 8 to support her announcement of the tour, produced by Bill Silva Presents. Her most recent trek, "KyleX2008," visited 21 countries and saw an estimated $70,000,000 in ticket sales.

Though Minogue is a top-selling artist globally, the singer has been less successful in the United States thus far. Her 2004 album "Body Language" sold 171,000 copies in the U.S., according to Nielsen SoundScan, and her most recent U.S. release, 2007's "X," sold just 36,000.

"Kylie has such a successful career outside of North America that it has taken quite a while to find a window in her schedule for the U.S. and Canada," said Bill Silva, CEO of Bill Silva Presents. "Her amazing fans in North America will be well rewarded for their patience when they experience her show and its entire spectacle."

Tickets for Minogue's fall tour go on sale to the general public the weekend of May 15 and will be available beginning May 7  to American Express cardholders.

Here are the dates for Kylie Minogue's North American tour:

Sep. 30: Oakland (Fox Theater)
Oct. 3: Las Vegas (The Pearl - Palms Hotel & Casino)
Oct. 4: Los Angeles (Hollywood Bowl)
Oct. 7: Chicago (Congress Theater)
Oct. 9: Toronto (Air Canada Centre)
Oct. 11: New York (Hammerstein Ballroom)
