Ted Nugent reunited with the Amboy Dukes for the Detroit Music Awards.

Kid Rock, the Raconteurs and George Clinton were among the winners at the 18th Annual Detroit Music Awards, held Friday night at the Fillmore Detroit. The show also featured the first reunion in 40 years of Ted Nugent with the original members of the Amboy Dukes, who received a Distinguished Achievement Award.

The Raconteurs, started in Detroit by former Motor City residents Jack White and Brendon Benson, received Outstanding Major Label Album for 2008's "Consolers of the Lonely," while Rock's 2008 hit "All Summer Long" was named Outstanding National Single.

Clinton's all-star package "George Clinton and the Gangsters of Love" took home Outstanding National Small/Independent Label Recording, while the lavish "Motown: The Complete No. 1's" box set was the winner in the Outstanding Anthology/Compilation/Reissue category.

Among the other winners was Sponge frontman Vinnie Dombroski, who snagged the Outstanding Rock/Pop Songwriter and Vocalist Honors while one of his other bands, Crud, was named Outstanding Industrial Group.

Nugent and company blasted through the group's hits "Baby Please Don't Go" and "Journey to the Center of the Mind," then covered Mitch Ryder & the Detroit Wheels' "Jenny Take a Ride!" with Wheels drummer Johnny "Bee" Badanjek sitting in.

A Motown 50th Anniversary Revue featured the current edition of the Miracles, the Contours featuring Sylvester Potts and Funk Brother alumnus Dennis Coffey, who played his instrumental hit "Scorpio."
