Jay-Z Plots Summer Tour, Ciara To Open

Jay-Z will headline a series of intimate performances beginning July 3rd at the Pearl in the Palms Casino in Las Vegas, the former's representative has confirmed to Billboard.com. The Brooklyn rapper will be backed by a full band, and will be accompanied by singer Ciara, who will open all stops.

"I will say it because the information has been leaked. Me and Jay-Z will be doing a 10-city tour run together! More details coming soon! [sic]" Ciara revealed on Twitter Monday night. Before the Jay-Z tour, Ciara will support Britney Spears on the European leg of the "Circus" tour in June.


Five dates have been confirmed so far:

July 3: Las Vegas, NV (The Pearl At The Palms Casino Resort)
July 4:  Las Vegas, NV (The Pearl At The Palms Casino Resort)
July 7: Chicago, IL (Charter One Pavilion At Northerly Island)
July 10: Uncasville, CT (Mohegan Sun Arena)
July 12: Atlanta, GA (Chastain Park Amphitheatre)
