'Hannah Montana' And 'Now 30' Building Big

"Hannah Montana: The Movie" is aiming for No. 1.

Next week's Billboard 200 albums chart will find a pair of albums perhaps vying for the top slot. Both Walt Disney's "Hannah Montana: The Movie" soundtrack and the "Now 30" compilation (UMe) are on track to start with more than 120,000, but it's too early to tell which album will triumph. The "Hannah" set led Nielsen SoundScan's Building chart released on March 25.

The chart reflected unweighted sales through the close of business on Tuesday, March 24. Billboard estimates the seven merchants who report to Nielsen SoundScan's Building chart -- Trans World Entertainment, Best Buy, iTunes, Starbucks, Borders, Target and Anderson Merchandisers -- comprise about 60% of all U.S. album sales.

Other albums aiming for a top 10 bow include Keri Hilson's debut album "In a Perfect World" (Mosley/Zone 4/Interscope), the "Now 30" compilation (UMe), Papa Roach's "Metamorphosis," Jim Jones' "Pray IV Reign" (E1/Columbia) and Martina McBride's "Shine" (RCA).

And that's just the list of titles looking good for a top 10 debut. Among the sets heading for a top 25 debut: Slim Thug's "Boss of All Bosses" (Boss Hogg Outlawz/E1), Mastodon's "Crack the Skye" (Reprise/Warner Bros.) and Blue October's "Approaching Normal" (Universal Motown).

Over on the Top Pop Catalog Albums chart, Sony Legacy's lavish reissue of Pearl Jam's 1991 debut "Ten" could shift more than 50,000, easily placing it at No. 1.

Nielsen SoundScan's sales tracking week, as reflected in the official Billboard 200 chart, runs from Monday through Sunday of each week. The newest Billboard 200 chart, released today (March 25) -- where Clarkson's "Wanted" held at No. 1 for a second week with 90,000 -- reflected the week that ended on Sunday, March 22.
