by Cortney Harding, N.Y.  |   December 11, 2008 12:44 EST
The Flaming Lips will curate a day of the 2009 All Tomorrow's Parties festival, which will be held Sept. 11-13 at Kutsher's Country Club in Monticello, N.Y.

Other confirmed performers include Panda Bear, Atlas Sound, Animal Collective, David Cross Suicide and Dirty Three, the latter two bands playing complete albums from their back catalog.

The inaugural ATP New York was held this September and curated by My Bloody Valentine. It included performances by Built To Spill, Shellac, Bob Mould and EPMD, among many others.

As previously reported, ATP will launch its first Australian events early next year. Native sons Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds will curate and perform at the shows, which run from Jan. 8-19 at a variety of venues.
