Dizzee Rascal is set to score a big-selling No. 1 single in the U.K. on Sunday (May 24) with "Bonkers" (Dirtee Stank), his collaboration with DJ and producer Armand Van Helden.

The U.K. rapper's last single, "Dance Wiv Me" recorded with dance act Calvin Harris and rapper Chrome, spent four weeks at No. 1 last July.

Early reports suggest "Bonkers" is selling double the amount of its nearest rival, Black Eyed Peas' "Boom Boom Pow" (Interscope).

"Yeah, it's there, it's way ahead," Dizzee Rascal tells Billboard.com.

Asked about suggestions he could even have the fastest-selling single of the year so far, he adds that "it's looking like that, it's good."

As for the fourth album from the former Mercury Prize winner, "early September is what we're looking for," the rapper says.

A U.S. plot for the record is likely to materialize nearer or maybe after the U.K. release, he adds.

"The last album - 'Maths + English' - was with Definitive Jux but that was just a one album deal, so we'll see what happens," he tells Billboard.biz.

Ahead of the album, set to be titled "Tongue N Cheek," Dizzee Rascal play's various U.K. festivals this summer including Glastonbury, Wireless, V Festival and Creamfields. A U.K. tour has been announced for October and November.
