Cam’ron celebrated his homecoming Monday night (May 4) at New York’s Highline Ballroom with his first performance in three years. And while many of the Harlem-born rapper's fans seemed nostalgic for a Dipset reunion--sporting merch of the Harlem-based crew like hats and tee shirts, among other regalia--Cam’ron, born Cameron Giles, made it clear the night belonged to him.

“I missed y’all motherfuckers,” Cam’ron, clad in a red tee shirt, red jacket, matching red Gucci visor and shoes and dark shades, professed to the crowd. The feeling seemed mutual, as hyped fans chanted, “Harlem! Harlem!”

"Let's not even waste time," Cam told his DJ, as he raced through one Dipset classic after another, including “Get Em’ Girls,” “I Really Mean It,” “Wet Wipes” and “Oh Boy,” among others.

Despite chanting, “Dipset for Life” throughout the night, halfway through the hour-long set Cam’ron made the transition from Dipset tribute to tracks from his upcoming release, “Crime Pays,” due May 12 via Asylum Records. “How many people hate their motherfucking jobs?” the gaudy rapper asked before jumping into “I Hate My Job.” He followed up with “Cookin’ Up,” “Get It In Ohio” and “Bottom Of The Pussy Hole.”

Cam'ron continued to divide and conquer when he brought up Vado and Byrd Lady, both from his newly formed crew U.N. “Let me bring my neighborhood up,” he said, as the stage became flooded with well over 30 people.

“Everybody be like, ‘Cam, you need to make up with people,” Cam continued before launching into “Got It For Cheap,” another new track off “Pays.” “It’s me, not no Santana,” he rhymed, replacing the song's original line, “Listen to my homeboy Santana.”

Cam closed off the set with his latest hit “Cookies and Apple Juice” alongside Byrd Lady, and the crowd roared as if to say, welcome back.
