If you seek more Britney Spears, you're in luck. The pop singer is adding another North American leg to her elaborate "Circus" tour to support her already platinum-selling album of the same name, her official website announced today (June 10). Produced by AEG Live, the tour will bring Spears back to Canada and the U.S. for a 20-city run beginning August 20 in Hamilton, Ontario and wrapping in Las Vegas, Nev. on September 27.

"I'm so excited to bring The Circus back to North America," said Spears. "I've made some really cool changes to the show that I think my fans are really going to love. I also get to bring the show to some new cities we missed the first time around."

Her first arena run since 2004, "The Circus Tour Starring Spears" kicked off in New Orleans, La. on March 3 and  and is the highest grossing tour of 2009 so far. The $50 million production features Spears in the role of a ringmaster surrounded by a full cast of dancers, magicians, clowns and acrobats, and it requires 34 trucks to haul its 60 tons of equipment from one show to the next.

Spears also announced today that the "Circus" tour will hit Australia in November, marking the first time the singer has performed there, reports Billboard.biz. Six dates have been announced so far, starting with November 6 at Perth's Burswood Dome.

Tickets for the second North American leg of Spears' tour go on sale June 19. More ticketing information will be made available on britneyspears.com.

Spears' sixth studio album "Circus" has sold 1,558,000 copies according to Nielsen SoundScan.
