Tickets go on sale Friday (Aug. 1) via Ticketmaster. A portion of proceeds from the $40.50 ticket price will benefit the non-profit organization Tree People, which works to find sustainable solutions to urban ecosystem problems.

Detour is booked by AEG Live touring arm Goldenvoice, best known for producing the annual Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival in Indio, Calif.

Detour launched in 2006 with a lineup that included Beck, Queens Of The Stone Age, Peeping Tom and Basement Jaxx. Last year's event featured such acts as Bloc Party, Justice, Satellite Party, Kinky and the Comedians of Comedy.
