Comments

Katy Perry remains in control of the Billboard Hot 100 for a fifth week with "I Kissed a Girl." The song sold more than 166,000 downloads in the U.S., according to Nielsen SoundScan, staying ahead of Rihanna's "Take a Bow" at No. 2 and Chris Brown's "Forever," which jumps 4-3 and is the top digital gainer.

Lil Wayne's "Lollipop" featuring Static Major is down 3-4, while Coldplay's "Viva La Vida" resurges 7-5. Leona Lewis' "Bleeding Love" falls 5-6, Natasha Bedingfield's "Pocketful of Sunshine" slides 6-7 and Lil Wayne's "A Milli" holds at No. 8.

At No. 9, Canadian rapper Kardinal Offishall scores his first top 10 hit with "Dangerous" featuring Akon. The song is No. 2 on the Billboard Canadian Hot 100. Jesse McCartney rounds out the top tier as "Leavin'" jumps 11-10.

The week's top debut comes from the Jonas Brothers' "Pushin' Me Away" at No. 16. The song sold 116,000 downloads, making the Jonases the first group to debut on Hot Digital Songs with six-digit sales on three tracks. All that has occurred within the last five weeks.

M.I.A.'s "Paper Planes" arrives at No. 55 after selling more than 42,000 downloads. The song is used in the trailer for the upcoming film "Pineapple Express." Its parent album, "Kala," returns to The Billboard 200 at No. 182 for the first time since May.

Keyshia Cole starts a seventh week at No. 1 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, where the top debut comes from Keri Hilson's "Energy" at No. 59. Ne-Yo's "Closer" is the greatest airplay gainer and soars 33-21.

Alan Jackson scores his 23rd No. 1 on Hot Country Songs this week with "Good Time," which jumps 2-1 to knock Blake Shelton's "Home" down to No. 2. Jackson's prior single, "Small Town Southern Man," also went to No. 1, thus giving him his first back-to-back chart-toppers since 2001.

On the Modern Rock chart, the Foo Fighters' "Let It Die" ends Weezer's 11-week run at the top with "Pork & Beans." Disturbed's "Inside the Fire" is No. 1 on Mainstream Rock for a 12th frame.
