Victory Records, Hawthorne Heights End Dispute

Comments

Victory Records and Hawthorne Heights have reached an agreement ending their
litigation. Suit was first brought by the band in 2006 for breach of contract. The label counter-sued, claiming rights to release future albums from the band.

The joint press release issued today (June 6) by the label, drummer Eron Bucciarelli-Tieger and singer JT Woodruff did not disclose the terms.

Victory will release the band's third studio album, "Fragile Future," on Aug. 5.

"Over the past year or so we have written a lot of songs, thrown away a lot of songs, and over the last month wrote a lot more songs," says Woodruff. "This last batch totally sums up where we are as a band, what we have been through and most importantly ... where we want to be."

Hawthorne Heights will be on the road as part of Linkin Park's Projekt Revolution tour this summer.
