Tickets go on sale through Ticketmaster and Live Nation on April 4. Meanwhile, the bands have linked with environmental non-profit Reverb to help green the tour via biodiesel trucks, carbon offsets and carpool groups for concert-goers.
Maroon 5 is out in support of 2007's "It Won't Be Soon Before Long," which topped The Billboard 200. The band will also appear April 9 on the "American Idol" special "Idol Gives Back."
Counting Crows' new Geffen effort, "Saturday Nights & Sunday Mornings," is released tomorrow (March 25). It's the band's first new studio album since 2002's "Hard Candy."
