Absolut Sponsoring Kanye Spring Tour

Comments

Kanye West has inked a sponsorship deal with Absolut 100 Vodka for his upcoming tour, which begins April 16 in Seattle. In conjunction with Absolut's "In an Absolut World" marketing campaign, the trek has been christened "The Glow in the Dark Tour Ignited by Absolut 100."

"This is a brand that has worked with the pre-eminent artists of the 20th century -- Tom Ford, Andy Warhol, Keith Haring, Helmut Newton," West says in a statement. "These are individuals who have inspired me in my work, and I feel honored to be a part of this legacy."

Absolut will sponsor after-parties in each tour city, where the venues will become an extension of the stage design West unveiled during his Grammy performance last weekend.

As previously reported, the tour will also feature Lupe Fiasco, N*E*R*D and, on most dates, Rihanna.
