Stevie, Billy, Jimmy Join Together For Jazz Fest

Stevie Wonder, Billy Joel and Jimmy Buffett are among the dozens of acts set to appear at New Orleans' annual Jazz & Heritage Festival this spring. The Shell-sponsored event will be held April 25-27 and May 1-4 at the city's Fair Grounds Race Course.

Also confirmed for Jazz Fest are the Neville Brothers, Tim McGraw, Santana, Sheryl Crow, Widespread Panic, Dr. John, Al Green, Diana Krall, Keyshia Cole, Robert Plant and Alison Krauss and the Raconteurs.

Irma Thomas, John Prine, Elvis Costello and Allen Toussaint, Randy Newman, Bobby McFerrin and Chick Corea, the Roots, Del McCoury and the Preservation Hall Jazz Band round of the bill.

Jazz Fest tickets, including a variety of VIP packages, are on sale now at the event's Web site.

In addition, Little Richard will headline an April 24 fundraiser at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside, with proceeds to benefit the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Foundation charitable endeavors in the city. For tickets and information, call 504-558-6100.
