Flo Rida Remains No. 1, But Brown Closes In

Comments

Flo Rida's "Low" continues to reign supreme on the Billboard Hot 100 for a fifth week, and also inches into the top 10 on Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs for the first time with a 12-10 climb. It is also No. 1 on the Rhythmic Airplay and Hot Rap Songs charts.

"Low" isn't really being challenged by the tracks at Nos. 2 and 3 on the Hot 100; Alicia Keys' "No One" and Timbaland's "Apologize" featuring OneRepublic remain in those positions for a third consecutive week.

But there's a new contender for the crown in the form of Chris Brown's "With You," which rises 6-4 and is both the fastest growing track at digital outlets and at radio. The song sold 100,000 downloads, prompting a 9-2 jump on Hot Digital Songs.

Fergie's "Clumsy" rests at No. 5 on the Hot 100, as another Brown song, "Kiss Kiss" featuring T-Pain, drops 4-6 and Rihanna's "Don't Stop the Music" lurches 13-7, her seventh top 10 on the chart. Sean Kingston's "Take You There" is up 10-8, while Finger Eleven's "Paralyzer" drops 7-9. Sara Bareilles' "Love Song" rounds out the top 10 as it moves 11-10.

Country artist Chris Cagle's "What Kinda Gone" is the Hot 100's top debut at No. 94. Just below, Bruce Springsteen hits the chart for the first time since 2005, and the 25th time in his career, as "Girls in Their Summer Clothes" opens at No. 95.

Alicia Keys' "Like You'll Never See Me Again" begins a fifth week on top of Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, where Brown's "With You" is the greatest airplay gainer and jumps 16-9.

On Hot Country Songs, Brad Paisley's "Letter To Me" ends Taylor Swift's six-week run at the top of the chart. Paisley now has six consecutive No. 1 hits here. Elsewhere, Jewel enjoys the top debut with "Stronger Woman" at No. 50; her debut country album, "Perfectly Clear," is due June 3 via Valory.

Seether isn't budging on Billboard's rock charts with "Fake It." It's No. 1 on Modern Rock for a fifth week and leading Mainstream Rock for a 12th.
